I am going back in time a little as I never posted about Katherine’s wedding. In the days of email and pinterest, sometimes you don’t actually have that much contact with brides and their families which can be a shame. Also, everyone is busy, people don’t live in the region, so, you do a lot of emailing and it works out. It was different with Katherine and Sara though.

Katherine’s sister Sara was married earlier in the year and these girls are lucky enough to have a very efficient mother who makes sure everything happens as it should - Elizabeth. Over the last year, I’ve seen a lot of this family and I now, with both weddings over, have been left feeling slightly bereft. So I was comforted on receiving messages that they would be thinking of other events requiring flowers. And it will be a pleasure since these girls have taste. Fortunately their weddings fell in different seasons so the flowers were always going to be different. Sara had the height of summer, powder blues, passion flower and clematis. Katherine had a warm Autumn day, deep purples, aubergine shades and berries.

Helen also wed and was lucky enough to have a beautiful day sandwiched between days of torrential rain.

And then there was a break in the weddings…
