Easter weekend was book-ended by a couple of weddings. We had friends visiting and even made it to the beach (the sun was shining) and Remy was allowed off his lead for a while but had to be restrained when he saw horses galloping on the sand.
Today I was met with these at market -
Yellow tree peonies - it’s a shame I didn’t place an everyday object in shot to demonstrate some perspective. They were like saucers. These are the reason I constantly say to brides, don’t be too specific, be flexible, you never know what will turn up on the week of your wedding. Can you imagine if you had a yellow colour scheme and these were available? Much like the poppy disclaimer, I would be very reluctant to offer these freely but you can bet your life if I saw them at market I’d make it my business to shoehorn them into your wedding somehow… (within reason)
Two completely different bouquets from the weekend. Becky went for pale pinks and ivories, Joanne wanted brights. They both made the right choice.
And time off. There was time off at Easter which sometimes doesn’t happen. It included Druridge Bay, Tynemouth market, a huge leg of lamb (barbecued), Lebanese chicken, rum, mini golf, Jamaica Inn (could you understand Joss?) and a realisation that Remy must return to training classes.
