It will be happiest in bright indirect light in a draught-free spot and should be watered when the top layer of compost is dry. Occasional misting will help to keep the leaves clean. Reduce watering in the winter months. Should you remove any leaves be aware that the sap of ficus plants is considered an irritant best kept away from children and animals.
